For example on your Panasonic PBX your extensions are between 100 and 300, you could make your extensions on the Asterisk box 400 to 600. But once the SIP trunk is in place you can send calls between PBXs by setting up a coordinated dial plan and steering codes to direct the calls between the PBX systems. It make take a license on the Panasonic side to support SIP trunking. Since in the Panasonic's name include ( Hybrid IP-PBX ) I assume SIP trunks is an option. To connect to asterisk you can either use a SIP trunk, PRI trunk, or a little bit more cumbersome extension tie line. If both of you can supply your knowledge of the Panasonic I can fill in the bits from the Asterisk side. I have no clue about the Panasonic TDA 100D, but I'm well versed in Asterisk.
